Terms of Service
Last updated 25 October 2026 · Nexora Futureworks Pty Ltd, Berwick, Victoria, Australia
1. The Service
InvoiceTurbo lets businesses create, send and track invoices, quotes and receipts, seal documents with a digital signature, and accept online payments through Stripe (the "Service"), on the web and in our mobile apps.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give us accurate information, including your business details and country.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by team members you invite. Keep your password and two-factor device secure.
- Tell us promptly at support@invoiceturbo.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Payments through Stripe
Online payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates ("Stripe"). To accept payments you must create a Stripe connected account and agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement (together, the "Stripe Terms"). Stripe may change the Stripe Terms from time to time.
- InvoiceTurbo is not a bank, payment processor or money transmitter. We never hold your funds. Stripe pays out to your bank account on its own schedule.
- You authorise us to share your account and transaction information with Stripe so it can provide its services, and to deduct our payment fee from each charge as an application fee.
- Stripe processing fees, chargebacks, refunds and disputes on your connected account are your responsibility, as set out in the Stripe Terms.
- Stripe may verify your identity, hold or delay payouts, or close your connected account. We are not responsible for those decisions.
4. Plans, fees and billing
- Plan prices, invoice limits and payment fees are shown on our pricing page. Payment fees apply to invoices paid online through InvoiceTurbo.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices exclude taxes, which we add where required.
- Trials convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel first.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next billing period.
- Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Your content and your clients
- You own the content you put into the Service: your business details, client records, documents, logos and attachments ("Your Content").
- You give us a licence to host, process, transmit and display Your Content only as needed to run and improve the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You are the controller of your clients' personal data and we process it for you under our Data Processing Addendum, which forms part of these terms.
- You are responsible for having the right to send messages to your clients and for the accuracy of your invoices, prices and taxes.
6. Tamper-proof seals
When you send a document, InvoiceTurbo records a cryptographic fingerprint and signature so anyone can check it hasn't changed since it was sent. A valid seal shows that the document matches what was sent from your account. It does not confirm that the document's contents are true, that a debt is owed, or that the sender is who they claim to be. Sent documents cannot be edited; you can void them and issue a credit note or replacement.
7. Taxes and advice
InvoiceTurbo provides tools to calculate and show taxes, but you are responsible for choosing the right rates, collecting and paying taxes, and keeping records required by law. We do not provide tax, legal or accounting advice.
8. AI features
Some plans include AI features that draft invoices from text or read receipt photos. Their output can be wrong. Nothing is saved until you confirm it, and you are responsible for checking it before you send anything.
9. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no fraud, no fake or misleading invoices, no prohibited businesses, no spam, and no attempts to break or abuse the Service.
10. Third-party services
You can connect services such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
11. Suspension and termination
- You can stop using the Service and delete your business at any time from Settings. Deletion takes effect 30 days after you request it, and you can cancel the request before then.
- We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, Stripe or others, or don't pay. Where reasonable we'll give notice first.
- Before deletion you can export your data. After deletion we keep only what we must by law, as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and secure but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we remove a feature that is material to a paid plan, we'll tell you in advance and you may cancel for a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees.
13. Intellectual property
We own the Service, our software, brand and documentation. Except for Your Content, nothing in these terms gives you rights in them beyond using the Service as allowed. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
14. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded, including the Australian Consumer Law and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act where they apply.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability arising from these terms or the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and A$100. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
If the Australian Consumer Law applies and our services are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use, our liability for failing to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited, where the law allows, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
16. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from Your Content, your dealings with your clients, or your breach of these terms or the law.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept them; if you don't agree, you can close your account.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts that hear appeals from them. If you are a consumer, this does not take away rights you have under the law of the country where you live, including the right to bring proceedings there.
19. General
These terms, together with the policies they reference, are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Failing to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
